Elected yearly, consisting of the Board Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary, the Executive Committee serves an oversight role for the Portland Food Council.
The Policy Committee—in which anyone can participate—serves as the policy research, drafting, and reviewing arm of the Portland Food Council. Working groups that have policy questions or need assistance with policy matters bring those issues to the Policy Committee.
The Community Engagement Committee—in which anyone can participate—works to include a diverse and broad spectrum of the Portland community to participate in the Portland Food Council. The Community Engagement Committee holds gatherings and events around Portland and beyond to connect food-system stakeholders, the community, and the City on key issues.
